Job Purpose :
Lead one of VOOT's Product Verticals by strategizing, building a roadmap, and identifying/defining and executing features for the product for aggressive business growth
Key Accountabilities :
Product Performance :
- Deliver best in class product functionality by minimizing crash rate, reducing playback time and ensuring maximum device coverage
- Use data to make product decisions & create a compelling user experience
- Minimize product and technical conflicts through timely integration and alignment of ideas and internal / external partner
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of outsourced functionalities and services with no downtime
Product Innovation :
- Identify, conceptualize and develop new product/s' functionalities, and incorporate amendments/improvements to the existing product
- Engage with a large base of cross functional teams & partners across geographies to deliver path breaking features
- Ensure future readiness of product/s by researching global market trends
Product Monetization :
- Build strong monetisation platforms for VOD and linear content on VOOT
- Clear, concise and thorough articulation of the product requirements to enable an engaging and monetizable customer experience
- Support Ad Sales teams with implementation of ad tech
Product Development :
- Deliver timely UI / UX with features built-in basis consumer need identification to the end product
- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product features by reviewing product specifications and requirements
- Analyse data science and market trends and identify solutions to support product development Develop POC (Proof of Concept) for product features with high consumer value
- Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to create extraordinary customer experience
Team Management :
- Review performance on regular basis
- Ensure optimum levels of engagement through appropriate recognition channels
- Provide inputs on hiring and succession planning
- Manage and mentor a lean team of product executives/managers
- Identify training needs by using TNA method
