Job Description : Digital Ventures - Growth Partnerships and Alliances This role is focused on helping grow VOOT in India and abroad through partnerships and strategic alliances in Digital across Ad Sales, Marketing Alliances and Technology Partnerships. VOOT is a leading video streaming platform in India with ~50 mn monthly users and 50 min+ time spent per viewer per day. Key responsibilities : -Drive revenues from key strategic accounts - Develop regional/industry expertise for focus regions especially China - Evaluating the potential financial impact of future partnerships -- i.e. (Benefits, costs and potential risks of each particular partnership) - Providing input to planning teams on the expected impact of current and upcoming partnerships - Convert Chinese clients to come on board as advertisers on Voot by selling sponsorships, inventory and other novel solutions - Build and run deep rooted partnerships with digital ecosystem players such as browsers, app stores, publishers, utility apps, e-commerce, etc - Coordinate across Marketing, Ad Sales, Product and other teams to service key partnership deals - Travel to China and other international locations to build pipeline of new potential partners Key Relationships : - Reports to Head - Growth & Innovation - Work closely with Heads of Ad Sales, Marketing, Product and Content to identify key partners and close deals Background/ Knowhow : - Relevant experience of 5-8 years - MBA from a top B-School - BE/ B Tech or BA Economics preferred - Working written and verbal knowledge of Chinese languages (Mandarin/ Cantonese) a must. - Strong relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills - Curiosity about and broad awareness of global developments in digital space - Exceptional presentation and communication skills - Self-driven and entrepreneurial - Attention to detail - Direct Sales and/or partnership experience preferred - Should be comfortable with traveling frequently to international locations for Business development About Viacom18 : Viacom18 Media Pvt.
