Product Management at Voot Kids

- Product Management at Voot Kids is all about obsession with customers and data. The team is small and highly motivated to create a world class offering for Kids despite the challenges that come in the way.

- Hence Product Management team is constantly responsible for answering the question of what is getting developed, why it is chosen and how will it delight our customers. This, the team diligently does through interfacing with the marketing, operations, and customer teams as well as through user research on a regular basis. At Voot Kids, high focus on Impact and Ownership allows for freedom to experiment and innovate.

What would you do:

- Own the strategy and roadmap for the key product areas you work upon.

- Manage all aspects of a successful software or technology product throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition

- Partner with the other business leaders to define and drive substantial parts of the customer experience for the respective categories.

- Define the requirements and product acceptance testing criteria, ensure that they are met; plan for and ensure that product (and features) are appropriately used launched and queries related to the same are addressed adequately by customer care team.

- Promptly resolve issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders

- Act as a trusted adviser, coach or a guide for new joinees and juniors in the team.

Some Must Haves:

- Deep interest in understanding of customers needs and aspirations deeply and thereby becoming a customer champion

- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and try to create with the big picture and impact in mind

- Ability to understand and talk technology and work with tech counterparts to explain and resolve roadblocks on a regular basis ensuring that the final product is an absolute customer delight

- Knowledge in developing elegant and simple feature functionalities which delivers world-class user experience.

- 0-2 years of experience, demonstrating product management of tasks in a consumer tech industry, resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.

- Equally comfortable in adhering to processes and generating annual road maps, strategic vision and a weekly status update.

- A strong business acumen to guide our goals through roadmaps and define new product features and strategies.

- Ability to gel with other cross functional teams to drive and implement the product idea you defined and see them to their ultimate delivery.

- Your brilliance in communication for it is your rhyme which will open the window of opportunities for our business

- Strong data-driven analytical skills and be able to operate and thrive with partial information and ambiguity while providing complete clarity and data backing to the products and features developed in due course.

- A Bachelors in Engineering (preferably Computer Science or equivalent) with a Management degree from a reputed institute.
