Responsibilities of the role:
VFS is looking for a Regional Finance Manager for HO and MIS who is responsible for:
- Co-ordinating with Regions (SA/RCIS/MEA/Australasia/Europe/Africa/NEA) and Unit holders in preparation of P&L forecast for HO-monthly/quarterly and assist preparation of budgets for HO.
- Providing support and working closely with Unit heads on terms of business updates, Cost requirements and Cost controlling
- Overseeing monthly closure and timely reporting. Engaging with Units during submission of monthly reporting and quarterly forecasts
- Manage P&L and apply budgetary control process and closely monitor the costs and implement timely cost control measures
- Able to provide effective insight and strategic direction in financial forecasts, monthly results and treasury. Preparing CBA with logical and Strategic view on tactical decisions.
- Overseeing accounting function, ensure the operations are carried out in a main way, accurate, timely and in accordance with the defined Manuals.
- Overseeing year end audit closure and engage with statutory auditors for timely statutory closure.
- Closely worked with the local and relevant regional teams for timely and accurate reporting and compliance with VFS policies
- Implement effective financial process controls based on IFRS control guidelines
- Provide support in managing treasury, working capital, credit exposure risk and optimizing cashflow management
- Continuously improve the Reporting & Operation Finance team structure to drive efficiencies.
- Assisting MIS and Controlling team for preparing Weekly Estimate for VFS Group level, by coordinating with all the regions and meeting the EBITA expectations of Central team.
- Handling Projects of I&CS (Identity and Citizen Services) vertical from Finance, including preparation of Project Budgets, Monthly reporting, AR recovery etc.
- Lead Finance for STA (Saudi Tourism Client) including Budget preparation, managing collection, payments to agencies, Client and internal MIS reporting.
- China and Japan AMT Finance - ensuring timely renewals for all the regions/ countries, managing payments to QDF, Monthly MIS and exploring/ tracking ROP.
What you will need:
- Chartered Accountant with 10 -12 + years PQE managing finance functions. Preferably within Service and Travel industries.
- Majoring in Finance/ Accounting/ Audit.
- Excellent technical skills and up to date knowledge of relevant standards, tax requirements and corporate governance issues
- Strong knowledge in accounting principles and IFRS control compliance
- Strong leader with the ability to closely work with cross functional teams
- Strong communication skills, including inter-personal and influential skills
- Good sense of logical thinking, proactive and capability to take initiative
- Independent and highly motivated
- Resilient with the ability to multitask under high pressure.
