Job Description:
- Learning Needs:
- Training need identification in areas of technical trainings
- Acts as single point of contact for "all trainings" - plan, execute and regular report out to leadership on learning progress
- Understand the knowledge management framework for managing and sustaining knowledge - includes SOP documentation, remediation and refresher programs
- Standardize process training approach and incorporate basic principles like process overviews, shadow, reverse shadow, case studies, assessments and certifications
- Develop content in collaboration with IT SMEs and facilitate sessions to new hires and existing colleagues to freshers up to mid-level managers
- Assess the success of learning offerings and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Knowledge Transfers (KT) for New Transitions
- Collaborate with Technology and onshore to design Knowledge transfer framework
- Create KT detailed plan (internal training, external training, SME needs during external training, shadow-reverse shadow plan with milestones for assessment and certification)
- Ensure training coverage is appropriate, identify learning gaps, liaise with onshore and offshore SMEs to ensure mitigation steps are in place
- Continuous monitoring, tracking, and reporting of progress across training
Requirements :
- Should have led Knowledge Transfers (KT) for New Transitions
- Experience in areas of Operations - Retirement Services or Employee Benefits or Finance and Accounts or Investment Management domain in US market will be given preference
- Expertise in managing end to end learning needs of a Business Unit/LOB
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cohesively with onshore, offshore and shared services teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in MS Excel, Dashboards and PowerPoint
- Willingness to be hands-on in getting the work done as needed and able to identify, leverage and manage resources from multiple sources, including the business
- Stay abreast of training and development research and industry trends: Deploy best in class learning practices
- Partner with vendors partners to facilitate the learning needs for the business
- Partners with the business to assess learning requirements using Training Needs Identification (TNI) methodologies
- Develop training programs based on outcomes of TNI
- Leverage available resources (global and internal), Subject matter experts, vendor partners to deploy meaning learning solutions
- Well versed with Project management skills to plan, monitor and report status of learning projects & initiatives
- Experience in using LMS and SharePoint would be an added advantage
- Use learning analytics to derive meaningful insights from learning data
- Manage Logistics - room bookings, sending invites to participants, rollout surveys
Experience :
- 6-10 overall experience in IT, of which over 3-6 years of experience should be in learning and development role.
- Hands-on experience in leading technical learning programs and facilitation
Education :
- Postgraduate/Graduate from a reputed institute
Other Requirements :
- Flexible work schedule will be required - the individual must be willing to work in US shifts as per the business need if required
- Should be to work out of office in person
