Job Definition :
The Marketing Head will be responsible for designing, supporting and executing the strategic planning process for all brand marketing efforts to meet product and brand objectives.
Job description :
- Liaise with various agencies - Creative, media, digital, event management, PR and market research agencies for :
a) Briefing for consumer and retail promotion campaigns
b) Evaluating and implementing the plans including media activation's, POP, retail support
- Continuously innovate to maintain brand relevance with TG by driving digital marketing in paid, owned and earned media
- Cocreate ATL and BTL plans across multiple consumer touch points to actively engage the TG thus improving brand salience
- Steer the VM planning and execution across various channels working closely with the VM team and vendors to create the retail signature in line with the brand promise
- Design and implement innovative retail marketing programs that efficiently and creatively support brand marketing strategy and improve retail performance
- Enable market research for measuring brand health, brand awareness, consideration, attitudes and buying behaviour and loyalty with a view to enhance brand equity
- Set up and track feedback mechanisms in order to measure the impact of various marketing programs and consumer promotion activities
- Design new MIS tools to enable effective competitor tracking and the marketing data
- Drive the CRM initiative for Wrangler with the help of CRM partner to ensure a strong consumer loyalty resulting in profitable growth at retail
- Work closely with internal and global teams in VF to implement the complete marketing plan and promotional calendar effectively, on time and within the marketing budgets allocated
Key Result Areas :
- Efficient and innovative designing and execution of the marketing calendar with a special focus on retail marketing to create high consumer involvement
- Enhance retail performance using innovative retail marketing and new media tools
- Improve brand equity scores through sustained all-round creative marketing efforts
- Deliver targeted marketing ROI through effective media costs saving, budget compliance ensuring investments are optimized for maximum returns
Other Skills :
- Good communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence teams
- Good understanding and hands on experience in social / digital media and marketing
