Key functions include:   - Monitoring sampling for styles (this includes tracking from docket handover to sourcing / sampling till road show sample is developed)  - Range finalization - Preparing the selected styles for review & range finalization before road show- in terms of actual samples &   - Costing: Prepare cost sheets with detailed break up of components  - Road show preparations - order forms, facilitating information to marketing for catalog   - Planning, monitoring & execution of salesman samples   - SAP uploads - material masters & BOM related activity  - Information to production - via sample handovers & system related information   - Review & approvals of all pre production samples   Competencies   - Organized, structured and time conscious approach   - Must be reasonably good in communication - since the merchandiser interacts with the front end during road shows & market visits and the back-end (eg vendors & factories) on a constant basis  - Must have an eye for details w.r.t the Knits category - be it fits, embellishments & washes  - Must be hardworking and good interpersonal skills- since going forward will require him/her to co-ordinate with multiple Knits producing factories.
