Position: Sr. Structure Bridge Design Engineer

Project:

Government of India is implementing a Dedicated Freight Corridor project (DFCC). The Work on the Eastern section of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) between Mughalsarai and Bhaupur (approx 402 Kms) is to be constructed as an electrified (2 x 25kV AC- 50 Hz) double track railway, capable of operating at a maximum train speed of 100km/h. Mott MacDonald's role is for project management consultancy for the above-mentioned project.

Expert to be stationed at Allahabad, UP

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Structural Design and checking of drawings

- Analysis & Design of RCC & Steel Structures as per relevant codes

- Designing of Superstructure, Substructure and foundation for various bridges

- Review of vendor drawing for adequacy of data for civil design

- Assisting in all technical issues in design and construction phase

- Familiarity to work on Design Software: Staad Pro, AutoCad and ETabs

- Familiarity with Indian and International codes and standards

- Ability to communicate knowledgably in all aspects of the project

- Maintaining brand reputation whilst undertaking the project (both with this Group key client and in the wider industry)

Candidate Specifications:

- Holds an BE/B Tech degree in Civil/Structural with ME/M Tech Structures from a recognized reputed university

- 15+ years- experience in the field of analysis and designing

- 7+ years of experience in Railway, Transport or Infrastructure projects
