Vertical Manager - Quality Assurance - Institutional Business Function

Vertical Manager- Quality Assurance Institutional is responsible for managing process excellence initiatives of Institutional business function to improve process security, efficiency and effectiveness across all teams in the Operations department while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards to achieve the long-term quality assurance and operational excellence vision through instituted policies and procedures.

Key challenges for the role are as follows:

a) Product Complexity: Handling standalone department catering to all diverse business line segments in ABFL including C&I, Emerging Businesses & Mortgages LOBs which conduct High value structured transactions with diverse customer segments through diverse distribution channels

b) Market Dynamics: Reviewing operational framework in line with changing market dynamics, new technological developments and constantly evolving regulations

c) Strategic Partnerships: Establishing strategic partnerships with leading domestic banks having large geographical coverage for efficient banking operations and fund management (inflow and outflow of funds)

d) Growth: Given the rapid pace of change striking the right balance between organizational depth and executional efficiencies is a challenge Standardizing processes for the structured products in a pan-India geographical spread is a challenge

e) Technological Advancements: Identifying suitable opportunities for technology enablement/ enhancements/ improvements in a timely and relevant manner to ensure transactional efficiencies as well as process security

f) Delivering Customer Experience: Minimising attrition of our Corporate / enterprise customers by improving customer experience through superior & responsive service quality and competitive products value

g) Risk Management: Ensuring deployment of process controls to preempt any Operational frauds and losses, High financial and reputational risk as the high value of transactions requires added governance adherence to policy & processes
