As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Supply Chain Planning to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes.

Job Brief:

- Our client wants to hire an experienced professional with an analytical & meticulous mindset along with exceptional stakeholder management skills. An ideal candidate should come with an understanding of demand & supply planning & management, forecasting, strategic sourcing from the global markets and ability to understand the market fluctuations.

- The incumbent would be responsible for managing entire supply chain planning operations by understanding business needs, sales forecast, need for imports, new product development for imports and exports. The incumbent will be responsible for managing 1000+ SKUs while collaborating with multiple external suppliers, cross - functional internal teams such as Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, logistics etc and will be instrumental in inventory management based on forecasting.

- The role will entail Demand & Supply planning, Domestic & Imports P2P (Procurement to payment) Operations, Supplier Relationship, Optimum Inventory management, Material availability on time at each branch/depot and setting up the complete distribution network - customer focused.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the strategic vision for supply chain planning, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain planning team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2. Demand and Supply Planning:

- Oversee the development and execution of demand planning strategies, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with production capabilities.

- Lead cross-functional teams in optimizing supply plans, balancing demand fluctuations, and minimizing excess inventory.

3. Forecasting:

- Drive the development and maintenance of advanced forecasting models, leveraging data analytics and market insights.

- Mentor the team in utilizing historical data and industry trends to enhance forecasting accuracy.

4. New Product Development:

- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams to integrate supply chain considerations into the new product development process.

- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to align on launch timelines, production capabilities, and inventory requirements.

5. Analytics and Trends:

- Utilize data analytics tools to assess supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.

- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to shape forward-looking supply chain strategies.

6. Coordination and Collaboration:

- Foster strong relationships with Sales and Marketing teams to align on promotions, product launches, and sales initiatives.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance communication and coordination across departments.

7. Team Management:

- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain planning team.

- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team's success in meeting organizational objectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Engineering with Master in Management preferred

- 15+ years of work experience in Supply chain function.

- Understanding of forecasting and analytical tools for supply chain.

- Proven leadership experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and new product development within the consumer electronics industry.
