JOB DESCRIPTION - VERTICAL HEAD
SOURCING & RECRUITING
- Role Overview Vertical Head will create and drive the programs and processes that help find, hire and develop the best talent. Will directly manage, coach and develop others, providing day-to-day team oversight of Sourcing & Recruiting Specialists. Set-up a matrix-based evaluation method to ensure the stakeholders' sourcing and staffing requirements are met and develop and maintain a healthy working relationship with them.
- Ideal candidate, who has been part of management and managed talent delivery, preferably for US/UK staffing & can lead a team of 150 Members supporting across the world from INDIA.
- Vertical Head will operate as a member of the business's talent leadership team and reports to the INDIA DIRECTOR.
Key Accountabilities :
- Create, review and enhance hiring strategy and model.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and hire top talent for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and external resources to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Track and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of the sourcing strategy and make improvements as necessary.
- Accountable for accurate and consistent activity reporting across delivery teams.
- Ensure that the service delivery meets contractual SLAs and where possible exceeds expectations.
- Build strategic relationships with key clients.
- Leverage technology, data analytics, and internal partnerships with technology recruitment to streamline the recruitment process and ensure optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase diversity and inclusivity in the recruitment process.
- Final escalation for resolution management within function
- Management of direct reports, PCTs, development and training, coaching
- Develop succession planning and talent management in line with current and future business.
- Ensure adherence to company and Client recruitment methodology, policies, procedures and service delivery standards.
- Accountable for ensuring full compliancy to legislative and company policy to mitigate any potential risks
- Manage individual and team performance effectively by clearly communicating expectations, regularly monitoring business plans and KPIs, conducting performance appraisals and rewarding and recognizing employees
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture aligned with the company values
- Knowing all the current and upcoming projects run in an organization and being able to plan resourcing accordingly.
- Strong hands in managing the international Stakeholders & Delivery of assigned project.
- Providing project managers with support when it comes to resource management issues or improving resource management processes.
- Manage the activities to attract, screen and place talent pools including client referrals, client alumni and others.
- Management of individual performance to assess volume of workload and quality of output.
- Plan, Identify and Implement the process briefing sessions and relevant training programs for team members' coaching and development, and their performance management.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders with innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
- Audit the teams' metrics, process adherence and administrative compliance, including local/regulatory requirements and quality.
- Able to think creatively, result-oriented and drives consistent vertical performance.
- Ensure teams are meeting SLAs and KPIs
- Overall influence and accountability to the success of process
- Manage the selection, onboarding and optimization of hiring sources.
- Create, review and update SOPs, process workflows and governance documents, identify gaps and recommend change to fill gaps or eliminate non-value adds.
- Prepare reports and participate in process performance reviews
Skills & Experience Must Have :
Qualification: Graduation / MBA degree
- 15 - 20 years of experience in Staffing / Talent Delivery / RPO with minimum 10 years in people and talent delivery management.
- Subject matter expert on all aspects relating to sourcing, screening and service delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of US Staffing - market, VISA types, portals, ATS, laws, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, a data-driven approach to decision making and a systems- thinking style when problem solving
- Excellent communication, influencing, people and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing strategies and sourcing tools
- Demonstrable experience in managing relationships within a complex and matrix environment
- Good business and commercial acumen and ability to deliver consistent results by establishing and leading a client centric teams.
- Demonstrable evidence of consistently meeting agreed service level agreements, with proven experience of managing staff performance to meet KPIs and SLAs.
- Excellent networking and relationship skills at all levels, including operational level contact management
