Vertical Head - Agriculture/Industrial/Construction Sector - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (10-15 yrs)

Native has been mandated to hire a Vertical Head for one of our leading clients in the off-road tires segment which caters to Agriculture, Industrial and Construction sectors.

An ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

1. Should have an MBA degree preferably from a Tier-1 college.

2. 10+ years experience of working in a business position preferably strategy, brand, retail or business development.

3. Should have experience of building a business vertical from scratch and hands-on with creating a business plan, identifying and developing revenue streams, developing and analyzing budget, driving business development, sales and omnichannel strategies, expanding customer base, building and developing team, and P&L management.

4. Prior experience of a startup in a similar capacity would be an added advantage.

5. Should have strong analytical skills, customer focus, high agility and passion to build a business vertical proactively.

This role is based out of Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

- Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in motorcycling brands related to auto components, accessories, lifestyle products, riding gears, services etc

- Prepare business plan to set up the business vertical & identify and develop revenue streams in line with business plan

- Plan & execute strategy in line with the overall management objectives, business unit goals and directives.

- Develop a comprehensive company budget and perform periodic budget analyses.

- Responsible for driving the Business Development efforts in accordance with the strategy

- Recruit & train new employees for the business vertical

- Initiating, establishing & maintaining relationships with brands, vendors and suppliers to be represented under this business vertical

- Stay abreast of competition activities, industry practices and opportunities in the business vertical

- Supervise operations and the team performance under the business vertical

- Ensure all business activities adhere to legal guidelines and company policies
