Vendor Program Associate

- Supports the standardization of the vendor management framework and promote a culture of vendor risk management within the first line business units

- On a day-to-day basis, assists in the management and implementation of the vendor program framework, reporting, and monitoring

- Participate in formulation of workflow processes ; Supports the standardization of the vendor management framework and promote a culture of vendor risk management within the first line business units

- Contribute to procedures and policy development

- Performs day-to-day activities the vendor management program framework, training, tools, and systems to ensure and promote program compliance.

- Compiles and provides analysis for program reporting and metrics

- Provide audit and regulatory responses support as needed

- Identifies areas for ongoing process improvement

- Serves as SME within assigned area to support and train business partners and stakeholders

- Ensure quality of data input into the vendor management systems

- Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed; Contribute to procedures and policy development

- Strong analytical skills with ability to aggregate information into meaningful solutions/summaries

- Requires knowledge of risk program frameworks and concepts

- Requires knowledge of vendor management discipline industry best practices

- Requires knowledge of vendor regulations and guidelines, like OCC 2013-29 and FRB SR13-19"

- Requires knowledge of the organization overall (TIAA and its affiliates), including other business areas

- Requires knowledge of financial institutions and impact of vendor risk within the industry

- Interacts with stakeholders and senior personnel within business unit and across groups to resolve issues, gain needed information and influence outcomes.

- Develop strong working relationship with other areas in order to drive program compliance

- Ability to articulate vendor risk management concepts to all areas of the organization
