Vendor Manager - Grocery Supply Team - Retail

Position : Vendor Manager - Grocery (Leading Retail Company) (7-11 yrs)

Role :

- To lead and manage vendor management in the Grocery Supply Team and bring the right amount of stocks at the right time

- Execute plans for ordering and replenishment for regular trading days, promotions and key events ensuring availability for stores consistently by working very closely with vendors and distribution centres

- Conduct periodic reviews of vendor performance on deliveries and fill rates, channels and order calendars to improve availability and stockholding

- Liaise with category team on range, vendor performance, availability and promotion execution

- Manage stockholding by minimizing bad stocks in the depot and stores by reviewing promotions and retail media leftovers and continuously monitor the aged inventory and work with category team on clearing the stocks

- Support, coach and develop team

Requirements :

- MBA

- At least 7+ years- experience in Retail of which at least 5 years are in Commercial / Supply Chain function

- Experience in retail business in replenishment or commercial function

- Experience of managing / leading a team

- Hands-on experience with SAP and ordering systems

- Good Communication, planning and analytical skills
