Roles and Responsibilities :
This is an individual contributor role.
Person at this role will be responsible for :
- Identifying, prospecting, and recruiting new Vendors for Wisestep.
- Educating and selling new concepts to the potential vendors.
- Sales Planning and Pipeline management to achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Organizing Wisestep events and conferences to meet vendor community.
- Evangelizing Wisestep in different events, seminars and meetings.
- Negotiating agreements with Vendors.
- Working with existing vendors to share the customer demand, and priorities, and service delivery.
- Defining scalable processes to improve engagement with vendors, and their success ratios.
- Motivating and retaining of successful vendors.
- Overall vendor satisfaction.
Requirements for this role are :
- Ability and experience of selling new concepts
- Understanding of different business models and commercials models in the digital industry
- Ability to work in unstructured environment
- Entrepreneurial and Go-getter attitude
- Excellent Problem solving skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of IT and digital industry
- Any experience of community building will be of an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office. Ability to create good PowerPoint presentations, proposals and business cases
- MBA from a Premier Business school
