Job Description :

Roles and responsibilities :

- We are looking for a leader to head the procurement function at Vaxia to completely manage the procurement department for Vaxia's budget with external suppliers through implementation and development of effective procurement strategies.

- The ideal candidate needs to have experience of working in the e-com and Industrial space, dealing with all key stake holders at management level and having an excellent networking across procurement function's value chain.

Preferred Skills :

- Proven track record of heading / leading a procurement function

- Experience of setting up and managing an entire procurement department

- Experience and ability to lead a team across the country

- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

- Experience of having setting processes and systems for procurement function

- Ability to work with key stake holders / departments of the organization

- Experience of having strong negotiation skills and acumen of getting the best value of money

- Experience of managing supplier relationships across the country

- Experience of handling client engagements and provide strategic support to sales / business

- Experience of managing and handling large RFP's / RFI's

- Ability to manage and deliver key metrics from procurement perspective

- Ability to train, motivate, coach, mentor and continuously maintain team work

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members

- Maintain and acquire best practices in the procurement function

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Lead the entire procurement initiatives in the organization from planning, developing and execution of the decided strategies

- Maximize the use of available budgets by identifying the best practices and leveraging the spend within and outside the organization

- Implement Processes and Methodologies by adopting effective IT initiatives that can demonstrate cost savings to client as well as the organization

- Define key metrics of procurement function and manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, quality and service levels

- Provide continuous MIS reports to key management executives on the status of budgets, procurement status, cost benefits, etc

- Work with large client accounts to demonstrate organizations commitment and initiatives in providing a value added benefit of cost savings and simplification of procurement functions

- Responsible for handling any escalation and provide root cause analysis to the management

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.

- Establish, manage & control the procurement / supply function through ERP / CRM

- Work to develop the second level leadership roles and functions in the team

- Participate and Deliver timely response to the sales / pre-sales / business development function

- Provide Dashboard View of Procurement department to the management on a periodic

Qualification, Education & Experience Requirements:

- BE / MBA from premier institution like IIM, XIMB, ISB, etc

- Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant industry experience in leading procurement function in an Industrial / eCommerce organization.
