Job Description :

Roles and responsibilities :

- We are seeking experienced Category Managers for Vaxia.com. The candidate needs to have rich exposure in managing the complete P&L of a product category in the Industrial B2B space as a preference.

- The in-depth knowledge of the category manager will drive the product value chain including evaluation, pricing, vendor identification, marketing and promotion of their product category.

Preferred Skills :

The candidate is expected to drive a highly collaborative team from the Business Analysis aspects to cover the full software development life-cycle from requirements gathering through to UAT and go-live.

- Ability to understand the B2B Industrial Products Line with a focus on MRO

- Responsible for maximizing the top-line revenues and bottom line - profits for a category / categories

- Deliver the numbers on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis

- Drives the business growth, financial planning, market share, competition analysis, customer analytics, promotional plan, competent vendor identification, etc

- Product Life Cycle - Planning, Designing and Execution of Sales Promotions and Marketing Initiatives

- Providing Client with differentiated offering / products within a specific category

- Working with the marketing team and sales team to achieve the sales targets

- Identify competent vendors for the products and work with procurement to finalize the contracts

- Develop strong working relationships within the team(s) for buying, online merchandising and promotions

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Experience in successfully launching and managing a MRO product(s) category

- Have good skills on financial projections / numbers

- Self Driven Leader to work independently in driving a specific category

- Ability to communicate effectively with the internal teams and key stakeholders

- Ability to understand the client behaviour

- Experience in undertaking road shows, joint promotions and marketing initiatives

- Innovate methodologies to increase the conversion of opportunities

- Have a high degree of attention, listening skills and problem solving skills

Qualification, Education & Experience Requirements :

BE - Industrial Production, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering,

MBA from premier institution like IIM, XIMB, ISB, etc with a minimum relevant experience of 5-7 years in Procurement / Sales / Category Manager role in MRO / B2B / Industrial Supply space.
