The company has plans to list 1 million+ products in the next 3 years and will be the first Indian company in the MRO space to adopt an Omni Channel Model accompanied by innovation, well define process, trained people and client focussed engagements.

Role Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst (BA) with specialization in consulting and analytical skills. The BA is the primary point of contact between the business and the Engineering (IT), ensuring that project deliverables are met according to the agreed and documented business requirements. The BA is responsible for understanding the requirements from Business, Functional Teams, Subject Matter Experts, External Consultants, etc, by leading the tasks of collection of information, designing solutions, overseeing the development and coordinating the testing of developed system and business solutions for the organization.

Qualifications :

- BE - Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology from IIT, NIT

- MBA from premier institution like IIM, XIMB, ISB, etc

Experience : 6 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in verticals of Industrial B2B / Retail

Requirements : The candidate is expected to drive a highly collaborative team from the Business Analysis aspects to cover the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to UAT and go-live.

- Understand the vision, business requirements and scope from key stake holders

- Prepare, Conduct and lead Information gathering exercise with the entire team via

- Interviews, Workshops, Questionnaires, Surveys, Site visits,

- Workflow storyboards, Use cases, scenarios, and other methods

- Functional analysis, business process definitions, etc

- Experience of having completed at-least three large BA project assignments

- Document the business requirements in detail using industry standard practices that will act as a sign off

- Stake holder analysis, functional requirement specification, software requirement specification, wireframes and visuals, data model diagrams, test plans and test cases

- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions and execution plans

- Analyse, distinguish the user requests from the underlying true needs.

- Verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to the overall business plan

- Communicate requested changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to all the stake holders in the organisation

- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team

- Work to get sign off from the product owner / sponsor

- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

- Execute gap analysis against proposed technologies

- Organize review and / or release of documentation when required

- Support development teams by providing clarifications to requirements and design

- Initiate communication with members of other teams to ensure effective implementation

- Ensure that appropriate testing and business training is provided across the organisation

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Experience in successfully leading BA assignments and documenting complex processes

- Experience in gathering information, creating requirements specifications, process models and business rules for B2B solutions - Online / Offline

- End to end experience of the project/product lifecycle with experience of testing the developed solution to ensure it meets requirements and expectations

- Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies and Scrum Processes (Agile) and ability to create stories

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well in a highly collaborative, team-based environment

- Experience of software testing processes including the creation and execution of test scripts and the successful delivery of UAT

- Knowledge of good practice around usability, maintainability and accessibility

- Experience with design tools, UI wire-frames, testing tools and methodologies

- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with external business partners and internal teams to deliver the projects requirements
