Senior Manager MEP - Residential Construction

Job Title: Senior Manager MEP - Residential Construction

Responsibilities:

1. Design Coordination and Review:

- Oversee the design coordination and review process for MEP services in residential high-rise construction projects.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

- Collaborate with the design team to optimize MEP systems for efficiency and sustainability.

2. BOQs, Costing, and Budget Tracking:

- Manage the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for MEP services.

- Conduct thorough costing analysis and budget tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

- Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.

3. Execution of MEP Services:

- Provide hands-on leadership in the execution of all MEP services, including Electrical, Mechanical, Public Health Engineering, Plumbing, Fire-Fighting, and HVAC.

- Ensure seamless integration and coordination of MEP systems within a residential high-rise tower.

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.

4. Amenities Execution:

- Supervise the execution of internal and external amenities, such as Clubhouse, External Sports Area, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP).

- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the timely completion of amenities without compromising quality.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Implement and enforce quality assurance measures throughout the construction process.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications.

- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards.

6. Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of MEP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Provide guidance on technical issues and support professional development.

7. Stakeholder Communication:

- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Address and resolve MEP-related queries and concerns promptly.

Requirements:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in residential construction projects with a focus on MEP services.

- B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

- Proven experience in hands-on project execution and coordination.

- Strong expertise in MEP design, BOQ preparation, costing, and budget tracking.

- Knowledge of residential high-rise tower construction and amenities.

- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate.
