What Would This Role Entail? : - The Communication Manager leads an integrated unit of content generation, designing/editing, original content creation, social media, and marketing team to develop and disseminate engaging and appealing content across various offline and online social and mainstream media channels in order to increase deeper penetration of our campaign efforts. - The Communication Manager is also responsible for developing and executing the organization's creative vision overseeing all the creative output of the company. This includes all graphics, videos, and any other creative projects. They are also responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring other team members in their department. - Set up internal processes and schedule tasks and duties for the day-to-day operations of the large team. - Guide the teams in preparing and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly Content Plans and strategies for streamlining the work processes. - Stay up to date on industry trends with respect to graphic design or video production. - Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand, including social media creatives, event branding, print publications. - Reach out to influencers, media, and beyond in order to arrange story placement. Necessary Skills : - Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication or related field. - Minimum of 5 years experience in managing media and communication as a Communication Manager or Creative Head or Art Director in an agency or client-side setting. - Should be capable of handling large team and handling work pressure - Brand Management, Advertising, Content Production or similar experience is a must. - Prior experience in political consulting or allied space is preferred. - Have a strong bias for action and the ability to deal with ambiguity. - Political acumen and understanding of local culture, geography, and political landscape. - Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
