ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position - Management Trainee

Department - Investment Banking

Location - Mumbai

Reporting - Head of Research

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description:

Client management:

- Should scope out the research assignments/projects independently

- Meet & surpass the client expectations

- Incorporate client feedback promptly

Delivery management:

- Meet/surpass the delivery standard set by clients

- Deliver variety of research assignments across M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and Advisory, including equity/credit modeling, company tearsheets, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction comps, M&A valuations, and news & impact analysis

- Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

- Marketing, business development, organization development support

- Support on collaterals and samples

- Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

- Post-graduate with specialization in Finance from a reputed institution

- Preferably 1-3 years of prior experience in investment banking/equity/credit research

- Need sound financial/cash flow modeling skills, good analytical writing skills, idea generation capability, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable

- Working knowledge of Excel VBA and/or R/Python would be an added advantage

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated

- Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is preferred
