Valuation Head - Actuarial

Seeking candidates for an Insurance Company, for a “VALUATION HEAD / ACTUARIAL” position based in “BANGALORE”.

The Candidate must compulsorily possess overall life insurance industry (including Actuarial and Investment) understanding, knowledge and maturity with Minimum 9 years of actuarial experience in either a Life Insurance company or Life insurance consulting and at least 3 years in reporting/ valuation.

Key Responsibilities’:

- Develop, control and implement statutory reporting systems, solvency reporting systems and processes in compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, professional guidance notes

- Supervise submission of various actuarial reports (Actuarial Report & Abstract; Appointed Actuaries Annual Report; Annual Financial Condition Report; Quarterly Solvency Report) as per applicable rules and regulations.

- Set up controls and process for model building, validation of models in assessment of policy holder liability by incorporating developing actuarial techniques and understanding of product complexities

- Supervise analysis of profits by source and analysis of margins to ensure management appreciates need for corrective action and controls
