Job Title: Data Scientist

Job Role:

1) Writing Programs (Java/Python/R) to transform raw input data to relevant data required for modeling.

2) Analyze and glean insights from data using data mining & statistical tools.

3) Develop & implement Machine Learning algorithms using R/Python/Java.

4) Communicate insights to business stakeholders in presentable format.

Skillset:

1) R (good to have)

2) Python (Scikit) (good to have)

3) SparkML,Java (Required for real time implementation of ML Algorithms)

4) Comfortable working on linux/windows environment.

5 ) Strong programming background in Java/Python with knowledge of data structures.

Educational Background:

1) Engineering Background, preferably comp science from Tier 1/Tier 2 college.

2 ) Alternatively proven background in programming. References to previous work/independent work is helpful.

Ideal Candidate:

1) Programming background in Java/Python

2) Comfortable with Linux/Windows environment

3) Willingness to learn Machine Learning and apply same in problem solving.
