Head - Logistics & Warehouse Key responsibilities : - Head the Logistics and Warehousing Operations for Vahdam India. Responsible for both B2B and B2C/D2C logistics operations. - Improve service at optimized cost for global shipments - To engage with supply planning team for ensuring in-time product availability across all the overseas online market places/platforms - Engaging with 3PL logistics players for related shipping requirements - Export Import and Domestic trade compliance - Escalation management for deviation reports - Ensure correctness of product classification declaration and related duty payables - Handle and respond appropriately to queries from CHA/Customs/Banks/FSSAI/Spice Board/ADC for clearance of goods/products - Partner with Internal/External Audits and facilitate process and transactions Audits. - Partner with Regulatory, Quality, Taxation and Govt Affairs team for handling queries from authorities. - Cost and service delivery - Ensure duty drawbacks, and RoDTEP benefits are claimed and processed in time, for company to realize benefits in timely manner - Team Management, Lead performance reviews for the team and improvement initiatives - Collaborate with HR for developmental needs and coordinate for related trainings. Skill Sets : - Overall around 12+ years of experience in global and domestic logistics area - Experience in FMCG / Product oriented organizations are preferable - At least 4+ years of experience in leading teams - Strong understanding of Customs / Exim related operations. Should have handled export / import operations for minimum 5+years - Existing connect with global logistics players is an added advantage - Strong analytical skills - Agility to operate in a start-up environment and handle ambiguity at times
