Over 8+ years of experience in Quality Management system, Lean Manufacturing excellence, Industrial Engineering and manufacturing experience is required
Expertise in Apparel / Footwear Vertical & Domain
A lean certification on Six sigma Black or Master Black Belt (Preferred)
Responsibilities
1. Lead and work on Continuous Improvement Projects & Improvement action plans in Apparel Factory.
2. Document Kaizen ideas and monitor Value add vs Non-Value Add activities
3. Share best practices that drive value add and efficiency
4. Carry out Process evaluations as required, and CAP auditing as required
5. Identifying bottleneck/roadblocks in the roadmap of Project zero defect in factories.
6. Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
7. Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
8. Develop and evaluate options and work with Vendor/Factory to implement solutions & mitigations.
9. Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
10. Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
11. Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
12. Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
13. Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
14. Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.
15. Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
16. Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
17. Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
18. Train and oversee production personnel.
19. Ensure that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
20. Generate process documentation and MES reports
