V Mart Retail - Category Manager - Non Food Segment

- Planning and executing primary market study, Sourcing and vendor development for Personal Care & home care Category

- Ensuring timely dispatch / receiving of materials and follow up with suppliers for the same

- Keeping track of pending orders from stores and verifying the reoccurrence of items in the catalogue. Responsible for getting the product master created for new products

- To ensure that discrepancy note has been raised in case of Shortage or excess cases and getting the price master changed, if necessary

- Monitoring and ensuring timely procurement of materials in store and verifying that the same has been booked in the store system

- Keeping track of trade free goods and CD terms. Monitoring the return/replacement process of goods for expired, damaged and dead stock to suppliers

- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions and provide recommendations

- Ensuring purchase returns have been booked in system. Analyzing dead stock / slow moving items statement obtained from Store

- Monitoring Master Creation, wrong group structure, wrong item description, article architecture and stock points

- Identifying fast moving SKUs and executing ABC analysis. Preparing, managing and presenting hot list and reduction in SKU- s

- Preparing basis for justifying the list of new items added. To ensure replenishment tracking and distribution planning

- Monitoring the flow of items ordered, items received, sold and payments to be released

- Managing ongoing display, promotions, In shopping reports, schemes and offers received from suppliers during the month

- Examining reverse logistics and back to suppliers; tracking of spoilages and scraps, and controlling procedure over processes

- Monitoring and controlling lead time, order fulfillment ratio and ordering frequency

- Ensuring strict monitoring over miscellaneous issue, stock adjustment, Planogram and displays

- Liaison, collaboration and complete coordination with Head FMCG and SCM
