KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Brand strategy & Communication :
- Own and manage the strategic mandate for the brand in alignment with the defined vision
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive consumer awareness and adoption and brand activation
- Drive the brand's digital asset plans and social handles, work closely with CFT to create & execute the digital brand plan
- Map consumers current and potential trends, media habits, genre affinity leading to effective media planning and buying
- Work collectively with the Consumer Insights team to translate insights into meaningful value proposition driving communication that will aid planned marketing objectives
- Responsible for end-to-end execution from developing agency communication briefs to developing creative communication, execution and measurement
- Should have a sound understanding of the latest tools, trends and best practices being adopted in marketing
Operational Excellence:
- Should be able to multitask in an increasingly deadline driven environment
- Drive 360-degree clutter breaking content across both traditional and emerging channels
- Maintain brand consistency in multi-channel communications
Team & Agency management:
- Work closely with agency partners (creative) to develop relevant, clutter breaking communication in alignment with marketing and business objectives.
- Interact with media and media audit agency for delivery and performance on media plans and ensure best value for the investment made
- Build an eco-system of content partners to facilitate timely creation of work in alignment with marketing objectives
- Work collaboratively with other functions (Category Strategy, Product Planning, E-Commerce, etc) and build compelling communication narrative in tandem with business objectives keeping in mind the long-term vision of the brand.
- Understand the business priorities and market requirements working in close coordination with the National Product Heads, Category Strategy team and develop tailor made effective marketing campaigns
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders for internal communication requirements
- Build, motivate and develop a team of brand evangelists
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
Qualification and desired traits MBA from a reputed Tier1 B School
Should have a proven track record of conceptualizing & managing successful brand campaigns at scale
A passion for marketing and communication
Ability to influence others
Strong cross functional leadership
Comfortable with both the marketing science and art
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience:
10 -12 years experience in brand building and managing large campaigns
Sound understanding of both traditional and new age media and its application in modern day marketing
Sound analytical mind coupled with a creative flair
