Lead the Shared Services and Accounts function and ensure compliance to statutory / regulatory requirements and internal guidelines / standards in all activities pertaining to accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting and close consolidation reporting. Also ensure the accuracy of financial reporting output, timely availability of financial information for decision support, management of external auditors as well as smooth and efficient processing of Tax and Treasury Operations . General Accounting and Book Close : - Provide oversight for all general accounting activities&nbsp; - Ensure timely closure of books&nbsp; - Review trial balance and ensure accuracy of accounting entries&nbsp; - Ensure bank reconciliations are processed on time and gaps are highlighted to the respective teams for their action&nbsp; - Follow-up with the respective teams on inputs where required for provisions, accruals, deferrals, et al.&nbsp; - Ensure accuracy of balance sheet substantiation&nbsp; - Monitor capex spends and report variances against budget&nbsp; - Ensure timely capitalization of assets Accounts Payable : - Provide oversight through periodic reviews for all payables activities&nbsp; - Monitor payable spends and highlight any outliers / discrepancies to the respective teams for further investigation&nbsp; - Ensure adherence to Service levels and on-time performance on payables accounting and reporting&nbsp; - Ensure timely reconciliations for vendor accounts and highlight to respective team for action Accounts Receivable : - Provide oversight for all receivable accounting incl. cash application&nbsp; - Ensure timely reconciliations for customer accounts and highlight to respective team for action&nbsp; - Drive accounting for schemes uploading approved schemes on Vistex, timely settlement and reporting on schemes to respective business partner teams Master Data Management : - Provide oversight on Master data management activities (incl. relevant non-SAP systems through monitoring of data quality / interfaces with non-SAP systems)&nbsp; - Ensure strong governance and control on the masters, highlight discrepancies to the respective teams and drive them to closure&nbsp; - Regular alerts / notifications to stakeholders on masters update to support process changes Quality and controls : - Define / design (in collaboration with Governance &amp; Controls CoE), implement and ensure periodic update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies&nbsp; - Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations and to maintain &amp; strengthen internal controls&nbsp; - Regular monitoring of Control KPIs and identification of potential lapses, escalate to relevant teams for further investigation&nbsp; - Support CRSA with audit support Improvement initiative : - Drive continuous improvement agenda for CBS processes and collaborate with IT and other teams to identify opportunities for digitalization / automation&nbsp; - Monitor the SLAs and drive higher performance on SLAs Team management : - Active role in recruitment for CBS roles (on-roll / off-roll) in coordination with HR&nbsp; - Oversee and manage the team through driving the performance agenda, identify career aspirations and growth needs&nbsp; - Identify training needs of team members and collaborate with L&amp;D team to drive learning agenda
