CoFounder - UX Hack

Before I begin with my expectations, a brief background would help -

Well, I started UX Hack last year when I had identified a pain point while working in Product Management division at a startup.

Though moved full time to work on this only on Jan 17. I see my strength as a digital generalist with strong skills in Product Management, UX, Marketing, CRM and Growth Hacking. With these skills, so far I have managed to -

a. Launch the UX Hack platform (yes, coded it myself with help from freelancers) which is now live.

b. Cracked few partnerships to help increase reach of UX Hack (Upgrad.com, co-working brands)

c. Got 200+ contributors so far on the platform from across the world.

d. 15+ startups have run their first UX crowdsourcing campaign which has resulted in over 100+ hack submissions by contributors. Again representing different Geo

e. Managed couple of PR coverage for our events as well as UX Hack on BW Disrupt.

f. Part of Nasscom 10k startup program

g. Introducing (in progress) lot of workflow automation to manage the relationships with Contributors and Companies

So, if you observe, with my skills I have managed to almost tick the initial checkbox on the traction & PMF front. Only early revenue is missing which I am hoping should be able to close in coming weeks.

So, now as a Co-founder, getting complementary skills are a given. But, more important for me would be the following -

a. The value system should match - Honest, Humble, Hard work, Patience

b. I would ideally like to grow this in the bootstrapped way. So would be great if your finances are sorted out for 12-18 months. I look up to Zoho than Freshdesk. Because I see this also as a way to nurture a good team who is not driven by money alone but overall development.

c. You should be someone who appreciates technology. Comfortable with trying different tools that can help us make productive. This is one way I have leveraged from start and would want to imbibe as a culture. Before adding any person, see if a tool or marketplace could help. Spending $30-$50/month can sometimes help a lot of man hours.

d. Willing to move out of comfort zone and jump on other functions. For example, though I started from coding post-MBA had never touched it. Now, am here learned a new language again for the platform. Similarly, I am not an extrovert but still, try to do my best in meeting new folks. Hope you got the drift.

So the key skill that I am looking is of Sales - you should love connecting and interacting with new people, organize events, good at cold email and follow up campaigns, relationship building, good at up-sell.

Now the thing is our price points are low so ideally most of it would be digital sales rather than travel. As you see Sales is also now changing.

So, you must be a regular article/blog writer that showcases your point of view. You must be active on all social platforms like LinkedIn, Quora, Facebook, Slack, Twitter, Google+.

Look at the site, search and if interested, let's connect-

P.S - Right now have kept it at equity level with no cash component. Though there is bit of flexibility in here.
