Manager HR (Generalist Profile)

Job purpose is to support the HR Function head in end to end planning & Analytics for :

- Manpower Planning & Budgeting

- Analytics on HR KPIs and People productivity

- Budget controls (numbers & costs)

- Deployment of HRMIS across all verticals of the Department

- Deployment and control of various automation projects being driven in the Department

- Ensuring proper governance on Statutory Compliance

Manpower and Budget Planning And Budget Controls: Interface with different departments and understand their manpower requirements.

- Understand the productivity / expected revenues / business plan and work closely with these functions on optimum budgeting of Manpower.

- Discuss the same internally and provide logical reasoning for exceptions asked for.

- Post the discussions, support the departments in communicating the manpower budgets to different stakeholders.

- Act as a single point of contact for facilitating any decisions related to hiring of manpower (whether it is as per the approved plans or not).

- Further the role will be required to report on a time bound basis the adherence to the manpower budgets

- Ensure proper tracking mechanisms are in place to review the progress and timelines for the on-boarding of manpower.

- Post the approval of the budgets, the role will be required to publish detailed analysis on variance and factors affecting the compliance to the budgets / manpower costs.

- The budget controls will also provide inputs on mid term course corrections in manpower deployment basis the business productivity and cost incurred per employee against the revenue returns per employee

HRMIS & HR Analytics: Complete ownership of HR analytics and HR MIS for the management to update on HR related KPIs

- The MIS to include : manpower spread against the budgets, hiring trends, Hiring Costs, ratio of hiring channel contributions, attrition trends, productivity trends, HR Measurement Matrixes, Business related parameters : actual manpower vs required, etc.

- Further this profile will provide detailed analysis to the Vertical Head to take decisions related to People basis the trends.

- Support the vertical head on identifying HR and admin related costs vs the budgets, trends, variances and key red-flags on action required.

- Further these MIS would be used for deployment of resources, calculating the Return on Manpower costs, Productivity based scale up or scale down initiatives, etc.

Driving Projects & Automation initiatives: Responsible for coordinating & controlling the various Project plans / flow that are undertaken for automation of key HR processes or by different members of the HR team.

- Monitor the defined targets, timelines, process and ensure critical flags being raised to the relevant stakeholders at right time to avoid last minute surprises / unwarranted delays

- Develop coordination mechanism with various internal stakeholders like IT, HR verticals and L&D team to avoid gaps in accountabilities.

- Ensure regular review meetings with all stakeholders and project team members to provide them with necessary information on project progress, status and their key tasks to be initiated.

- Ensure regular flow of information within the teams through proper MIS to ensure coordination and collaborative efforts for early redressal of issues that may come forward

- Keep the stake holders informed about the progress & roadblocks of the project and ensure timely decisions / interventions from them to avoid any impact on delivery timelines.

Statutory Compliance: The role will be required to monitor various compliances to the Statutory rules that are required to be followed

- By way of dashboard the management will have to be informed on different compliance schedule and the current status

- Further the role will require to follow up with the various accountable stakeholders to speed up the adherence or take their inputs on delays

- These inputs will have to be flagged off and resolution sought for ensuring all Statutory Compliance related matters are adhered to

Skills & Knowledge:

- Educational Qualifications : MBA / PGDBM in HR

- Relevant Experience : 10 to 12 years

- Strong on analytic skills with experience in Manpower and workforce planning in a medium sized organization.
