US Tax Associate

- Collaborate with team members and clients to obtain transaction reports each month.

- Review purchase-related transaction reports to select the invoices that should be further reviewed.

- Pull purchase invoices from client's accounting or other systems.

- Review purchase invoices for potential use tax reporting requirements based on the applicable sales/use tax law and to determine use tax liabilities in each jurisdiction.

- Communicate and obtain additional information from client that is required to complete the use tax analysis.

- Update monthly sales/use tax compliance Tracker as required to maintain accuracy.

- Review and upload monthly client tax data into various tax reporting software.

- Prepare and send monthly sales tax return drafts and liability worksheets to clients for approval.

- Assist with new client onboarding process including data mapping and testing.

- Upload monthly returns to our secure client document portals.

- Regularly track tax compliance related progress for assigned clients and ensure timely required sign offs by stakeholders.

- Communicate with team members and clients on sales and use tax compliance related matters.

- Assist other team members as required.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or CPA with Minimum of 1 year of experience on sales/use tax legal research and refund review projects.

2. Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF documents, and other similar software required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.

3. Ability to establish priorities, manage projects, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

4. Strong attention to detail and self-review skills.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to travel as needed.
