US Tax Analyst - CA/CPA

Job role: US Tax Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

You will play a key role in supporting our tax compliance and reporting efforts in the US. You will work closely with our Tax Manager and other team members to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

- Conducting tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with US tax laws and regulations.

- Preparing tax projections and estimates to help clients plan for future tax liabilities in the US.

- Assisting with tax audits and responding to tax notices and inquiries from US tax authorities.

- Providing support to clients and internal stakeholders on US tax-related matters.

Experience/Education:

- Must have 4+ years of experience working on US Canada Tax filings

- Strong fundamental skills with knowledge on allowances and disallowances etc

- Have experience on Partnerships and Corporate filings

- Experienced in working with US counterparts on day to day basis

- Well understand the provisions and calculations as applicable for filings and ability to work independently or with least supervision

- Good general accounting skills to derive relevant information from FS

- Preferably CA, CPA or CMA fully or part qualified though not a must
