US COO - Associate/AVP - Global Markets - BFSI

Global Markets-COO- Associate (AVP Equivalent) (3-7 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Contribute to Business Management activities for US Equities, drive New Products Approval, Process Approvals

- Face of US Equities COO coordinating with resources across divisions to move projects forward

- Perform ad-hoc analysis, innovate on the current MIS, bring in new analysis to help drive business decisions

- Understand and implement various metrics for enhancing desk performance

- Manage enhanced MIS reporting platform for USEQ derivatives including database design, reporting development and data integrity

- Provide support for business reviews and management presentations

- Responsible for driving projects and assignments to support GM initiatives; both regional and global in nature

- Co-ordinate with regional FO and corporate functions on successfully resolving data issues

- Working with Finance to improve/Implement required MIS to ensure ongoing performance monitoring of the business

- Strong Knowledge of Equity products.

Worked around US Equities - Flow Derivatives / Prime Finance

- Strong technical and organizational skills, high proficiency in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Familiar with SQL and database design.

- Self-sufficient. Manage projects successfully from beginning to end with limited direction.

- Problem solver. Anticipate, troubleshoot & resolve issues working with regional FO teams, global technology and operations teams.

- Outstanding interpersonal skills in building and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders and regional counterparts.

- Ability to prioritize high volumes of deliverables across multiple disciplines working under pressure

- Good project management skills - planning, coordination/ execution, senior management reporting

- Positive attitude. Eager to learn, high level of intensity, comfortable working independently. Takes ownership, exhibits integrity, initiative and strong motivation.

- Attention to detail. Direct interaction with senior desk managers. Important to deliver a finished work product with minimal quality control.

- Solid communication skills. Articulate requirements and understand appropriate timing for escalation.
