US Accounting Manager

1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll records.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports as required. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance and provide analysis of variances between actual and budgeted figures. Make recommendations to improve financial performance.

4. Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning.

5. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to enhance control procedures.

6. Audit Support: Coordinate and provide support during internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules, reconcile discrepancies, and address audit findings in a timely manner.

7. Financial Systems and Tools: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools effectively to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy. Provide training and support to team members on financial systems.

8. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated with accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive business growth.
