Role brief:

We are hiring Production lead with strong experience in sourcing and merchandising, he/she will be responsible for supporting the production set up in India and be able to design the merchandising and production flow for the region.

You'll be required to:

- Work closely with global merchandise and design team

- Identify the capabilities and work dynamics of India production market and share the relevant feedback with Global Teams

- Identify and work with good quality compliant factories for the production requirement with low MOQs

- Plan and sync with all stakeholders for the production qty and timelines and ensure its adherence

- Negotiate the pricing and term with the Factories

- Build an efficient team for Merchandising, Buying and Quality Control functions

- Contribute significantly in building the adequate supplier portal and work closely with technology team

You are the right fit, if you have:

- 8+ Years of experience in sourcing and production (Merchandising/ Production flow)

- Strong mindset or resource on Urbanic business model (e-commerce/ fast fashion model, small volume)

- Flexible on different business models, especially small MOQ and high width

- Good understanding of brand direction on supply chain, fashion sense, category understand and supplier capability judgement

- Good knowledge of costing and materials

- Creative thinking and problem-solving attitude, able to think out of the box and bring in innovative strategies / solutions for regular operations

- Zero tolerance mindset and working attitude towards setting own benchmarks, instead of following industry average

- Understanding of tech dynamics to get the process improvised and experience in writing the PRDs

- The drive to independently own, cross-functionally partner, and execute - Ownership being our core principle.
