Role Brief:

We are hiring a Legal Manager with experience in legal practice, focusing on compliance management within startup ecosystems, particularly during fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate must hold an LLB qualification and demonstrate proficiency in contract drafting and management.

You'll be required to:

- Framing and finalizing Contracts & MOUs across various business functions including Tech, Sales, Purchase, Marketing, and Finance.

- Developing streamlined processes for contract framing and execution, involving coordination with all business units.

- Maintaining repositories for contracts and ensuring their organization and accessibility.

- Playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Data Protection Laws, Anti-Bribery and Corruption regulations, FCPA, Anti-Trust laws, POSH regulations, and the Code of Conduct.

- Overseeing compliance activities during both domestic and international fundraising efforts.

- Proactively anticipating potential business developments and implementing measures to mitigate legal risks.

- Designing and implementing structures and processes to effectively manage legal risks and ensure compliance.

- Providing legal counsel to business management on the legal implications of transactions and organizational changes.

- Drafting comprehensive legal opinions and advice, often involving extensive research on statutes, regulations, or court decisions in complex legal areas.

- Balancing firmness with adaptability within the business context while considering legal consequences.

You Are The Right Fit, If You Have:

- A LLB degree with 5+ years of experience

- Experience working with startups.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across different organizational levels.

- Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.

- Demonstrated ability to assess risks and provide legal solutions to facilitate successful transaction execution.

- Driven by a desire to achieve results.
