UrbanClap - Content Head

Job Description

The role involves setting up the entire content (standards of a great profile) for all wedding and event related categories at UrbanClap. Defining standards of what all should a professionals profile contain and how to represent it in a beautiful manner. The role entails overseeing all content initiatives and leading the development of content initiatives in all forms, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats. The position requires collaboration with UrbanClap partners, customers, and others to define the partner content featured on the app. Also, the role offers the opportunity to set-up a team of content writers and graphics designers and managing them to ensure consistent quality.

Job Responsibilities

- Developing an entire framework to ensure countries highest quality weddings related content

- Ensuring and enabling our professionals to represent themselves and their work in an extremely attractive manner to allow customers to hire them directly through the app

- Developing and continuously evolving a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives

- Ensuring all content is brand consistent and optimized for search and user experience for all channels

- Working with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or related communications field.

- 2-3 years of experience in multi-channel content creation (Especially preferred experience in Weddings or Fashion Industry)

- Excellent editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English language.

- Content production, editing and publishing experience with training in how to tell a story using words, images, or audio

- Experience of objectively evaluating wedding pictures on quality and appeal
