You will play a key role in building the Urban Company of the future. You will be working very closely with the Marketing Lead in the Middle East to understand the consumer, the market and lead brand and category growth. About Urban Company: Home services is a large, unorganized industry in India. Indian consumers spend ~ USD 30 Billion annually on home services. They largely rely on word of mouth and friends-family recommendations for search and discovery. There is no large, well run, billion-dollar Company in this category today. The industry lacks scale benefits - standardization, transparency and trust. In the absence of organized players, the current market architecture is froth with middle-men and aggregators, who control market access and keep a lion's share of the margins. As a result, experiences are broken for both customers and end service professionals. The industry could easily be 1.5-2x larger than it is today, if frictions in transaction journeys are removed - and experiences made more meaningful and memorable. What are you expected to do? Solve structural challenges in unlocking demand by solving on: - Market & Consumer insights and analytics - Building data- backed consumer insight using in-house tools and by contracting relevant agencies - Drive data driven decision making for all consumer facing assets across touchpoints like app, ATL, Digital - Daily data deep dive to raise red flags at the right time Offering: - Pricing - Is the price is perceived to be valuable / affordable against the offering we have for the TG - Innovation in SKUs - Is the SKU is perceived to be valued / impulsive / obvious need - New Service lines - Can we create new service lines from existing capabilities - NPS identify key determinants for detractors and promoters, detractors: drive insights on real issues of detractors and work with business on prioritization of those GTM Strategy + Execution: - Devise data backed consumer facing, low burn- high impact media plans, primarily on ATL - Modelling spends to Install ROI and optimizing from plan to plan - Drive strong consumer insight to optimize reach and frequency metrics of the plan - Weekly analysis of media plans to measure efficiencies and drive optimization of spends and impact Retention & Experience: - Identify core USPs in experience through data and in person consumer interviews to drive excellence in experience - Establish correlation and causation on various Experience metrics to retention and identify the right levers to improve retention metrics - Derive strong "trial drivers" from the analysis of repeat users and their behavior, in order to refine messaging and communication on various channels, improving CAC and CPIs. - Good-to-haves for the role: - Strong ability to strategize and drive to execution at scale - Structural problem-solving abilities while dealing with uncertainty in the current world environment What can you expect?
