About the Finance team : Our Finance team plays a pivotal role in the company's success. The team broadly consists of two sub-functions: Financial Controllership and Business Finance. As a part of theBusiness Finance vertical, you will collaborate closely with our International businesses, utilizing your analytical prowess to support decision-making, drive financial planning, and optimize resource allocation. With our international markets being some of the biggest bets of Urban Company. This role is critical for building a strong financial foundation for our new markets and driving sustainable growth in this exciting entrepreneurial journey. About the Role: - Overall business understanding and analysis: - Develop financial plans along with various Business and technology teams, with rigor on Bottom's up approach. - Review the plan vs actual on a regular basis; in depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling actionable planning. - Continuous tracking of key financials and business metrics, accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals Partnering for growth : - Develop deep understanding of business drivers and leverage that to create views for creating actionable plans - Partnering with respective business and cross functional teams for new business initiatives. - Do scenario analysis and develop business plans on product enhancement or business initiatives. Supply chain finance : - Review product pricing across channels along with COGS to drive the right margin structure for the business. - Oversight over inventory and supply chain functions like timely GRN, receivables reconciliation, TOTs with channel partners. - Drive efficiency and other day to day activities : - Participate & Drive standardization & automation projects for process efficiency. - Handle ad hoc requests and problem solving with a short turnaround time and supplement such requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making. - Acts as a running source of truth for numbers - key metrics and performance drivers. Who are we looking for : 1. A CA with 4-6 years of work experience in Big4s (Financial Due diligence)/ Industry/large FMCGs in similar roles. 2. Strong analytical skills and a data driven decision making mentality. 3. Strong business acumen to understand the business requirements 4.
