Job Description : Associate/Sr Associate - Taxation NOTE : This will be a contractual role for 6 months initially, post which performance will be evaluated to consider for a full-time role. - The candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in tax (Direct Tax & Indirect Tax) regulatory & compliance services. Preferred Graduate or CA final candidate who has 1 group or both group pending and has no plans to sit for exams in future - The role will be responsible for ensuring all taxation compliances are met on time with high standards. - Undertaking compliances under the Goods and Service Tax (GST) laws; - Thorough knowledge of GSTR-2A reconciliations with ITC as per books. - Perform reconciliations of GSTR-3B vs GSTR-1, GSTR-2B vs GSTR-3B, Other recos with electronic credit ledger, Eway bill reco, E-invoicing reco. with books etc. - Should have basic knowledge of gst laws w.r.t E-Invoicing, Eway bills and how to prepare E-Invoice and E-way Bill - Should have knowledge of filing of GST Returns i.e, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-8, GSTR-9/9C. - Reconciliation of TDS booked vs TDS challan paid on monthly/quarterly basis. - Thorough knowledge of TDS payment and filing of TDS returns. - Should have good command in excel and have experience on working of huge/bulky data. - Support to oversight in preparation of tax audit. Basic knowledge of Tax audit is required. - Support to oversight and prepare relevant workings for various tax assessments in indirect and direct tax - Research on various tax issues to resolve tax matters and queries of Finance Team; - Knowledge of laws applicable to ecommerce company - Hustle and get things done attitudes - Knowledge of Oracle would be an added advantage.
