Upraised - Scrum Master

In this role, you will :

1. Work cross functionally across various engineering teams to implement and facilitate Scrum events, including: sprint planning, stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

2. Remove impediments escalated through the engineering teams you support to ensure continuous team progress toward deadlines, deliverables and goals.

3. Foster and nurture collaborative environments with the engineering team(s) you support through facilitation of communication and alignment amongst engineers, engineering leaders, leadership, product leaders and stakeholders.

4. Ensure the engineering teams you support abide by Scrum principles and best practices.

5. Provide value proposition and coaching on Scrum/agile practices, principles, and values.

6. Develop KPIs for Scrum/agile metrics and provide data to the teams you support to help identify areas of continuous improvement.

7. Gain a deep understanding of our product and become involved in driving out product implementation.

8. Remain informed about industry best practices and trends in Scrum/agile methodologies.

If you're right for this role, you :

1. Are an actively certified Scrum Master (CSM) or hold an equivalent certification.

2. Have 5+ years of proven and professional experience as a Scrum Master on Agile/Scrum teams and projects.

3. Have a strong knowledge of Scrum and agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.

4. Have strong familiarity with software engineering processes, especially in the SaaS/e-commerce industry.

5. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in ability to facilitate productive environments and meetings.

6. Are comfortable in a fast paced, pragmatic work environment

7.Experience working in a remote team

8. Are a strong written and verbal communicator; Advanced English language skills

9. Must be able to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American time zones; Requirement to work until 3pm EST (US).
