Position Title: HR Business Partner Location: Mumbai Key Accountabilities: HR Partnering : - Support Functional/Business Heads by providing HR perspective on business strategies on Talent requirement and Operating cost, efficiently improvement - Proactively partner in projects with Centre of Expertise to create innovative HR Solutions - Proactively partner with the Functional/Business Heads to continuously improve the overall organisational productivity, develop and maintain a performance driven culture Employee &amp; Stakeholder Relationship Management: - Coach and advice the function/department leadership on specific HR Metrics for Organization - Co-Create and design process like (Team Health Surveys, Team Events, Skip Level Meetings, Talk Back, Pulse Surveys and Employee focus groups, etc.) - Act as a Consultant to Management on how to best implement/administer/interpret HR policies, processes and tools, programs and procedures - Drive the creation and circulation of HR Management information to all the employees Partner Operations Excellence: - Direct and design process for the respective functions/business on Third party cost, human capital appreciation and cost management - Conduct Audit and monitoring service quality rendered by service providers - Promote &amp; Act as a change agent to contribute to the business strategy execution - Plan &amp; Budget on the HR overheads for the respective functions/business - Review and analyse data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and employee experience Talent Management &amp; Succession Pipeline: - Initiate Talent management and succession planning for the division / business unit, facilitate and support Talent Review Meetings - Select and develop high potential candidates for key positions - Build and maintain a powerful talent "pipeline" by means of professional application of standard UPL Processes and tools - Analyse the business needs in terms of talents and competency upgrades, both quantitatively and qualitatively, align the competency portfolio with the business need - Develop the process for talent movement across functions / departments / subgroups Compensation &amp; Benefits: - Advise &amp; support business team reviews, promotion panels at BU Level - Partner with the Total Rewards CoE on Compensation and Benefits related actions for the respective functions/business - Provide the leaders with appropriate information on, and interpretation of, compensation and benefits programs and policies, work in conjunction with the Compensation &amp; Benefits Team to coordinate the annual merit and bonus process, take part in discussions and reviewing proposal initiated by line managers, and perform internal and external benchmarking Qualifications: Graduate with an MBA in HR or PM/IR from a premier institute Experience: 4-8 years experience in HR in an HR BP Role Experience of working with Agri-Inputs / Pharma/ FMCG Sectors Functional Requirements: - Specific knowledge of human resource theory, functions and practice, performance appraisal system and staff development - Proven understanding of the role and functions of a human resource - Experience in understanding and implementing compensation plans - Analyse organization need and provide cost effective solutions - Excellent working knowledge of employment laws Key Attributes: - Influence &amp; Partner at different levels of the organization to achieve results - Strong Problem solving skills, critical thinking and self- initiative - Showcased ability to advise managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness - Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills, high quality document and report preparation skills - Skill in operation and utilization software such as MS Word, Excel etc. for Windows - Proven ability to prioritize tasks to organize workload to assure that short timelines are met while having frequent interruptions
