Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development:
- Develop a comprehensive YouTube learning content strategy and the needs of the target audience.
- Oversee the development of a sales engine integrated into the channel strategy for monetisation.
2. Content Planning and Production:
- Collaborate with content creators, educators, and subject matter experts to plan and create engaging, informative, and high-quality educational content.
- Oversee the development of content that strategically aligns with sales objectives.
3. Channel Growth and Monetisation:
- Implement growth hacking strategies to increase subscribers, views, and engagement on the channel.
- Utilize analytics to identify trends, optimize content, and make informed decisions to drive continuous growth.
- Develop and implement a monetization strategy to generate direct revenue from the YouTube channel.
4. Sales Engine Oversight:
- Develop and manage a sales strategy to leverage the YouTube channel for direct revenue generation.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and oversee a sales team to integrate channel activities into broader revenue-generating initiatives.
5. Community Building:
- Foster a sense of community among channel subscribers through active engagement, responding to comments, and encouraging user-generated content.
- Implement strategies to increase audience loyalty and retention with a focus on sales conversion.
- Establish partnerships with influencers, educators, and organizations for channel's reach and credibility.
- Negotiate relationships with external partners to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track KPIs and generate regular reports on channel and sales performance.
- Provide insights based on data analysis to optimize content, sales strategy, and overall performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of proven experience in growing YouTube channels, particularly in the EdTech sector.
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO best practices, and content trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and meet performance targets.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
