Job Description

UnoLex is looking for talented and motivated individuals (with a legal background) to manage the development of our legal, accounting and business compliance products and services.

You will be responsible for developing new legal products and services we can offer, working with our tech-team to adapt it on our game-changing online platform and contribute to general content related writing tasks.

You will also be managing customer relationships and communications with our partners - Lawyers, CAs and Company Secretaries.

This is a pivotal role of our organisation and you will be working very closely with the founders on a day-to-day basis. Based on performance, you will also get opportunity to provide inputs to shape the strategy of our organization.

This role requires strong leadership skills & initiative as well as willingness to take accountability of tasks. We need individuals who are motivated to work in an early-stage start-up and willing to get their hands dirty.

We need a solutions focused Legal Product Manager to help manage the demand of new customers and develop our products.

1) Account Management Component:

To be successful in the role you will:

- Apply a customer-first attitude as customer happiness is at the centre of our business

- Drive new business opportunities and service existing customer relationships

- Possess great communication skills - email, phone and sometimes in-person

- Be organised - you'll need to be able to multi-task between different tasks and manage relationships with various customers and business partners

- Be a self-starter - Start-ups are different than big companies where your tasks are more well defined. You should be someone who does not need to be told about his daily tasks

- Add value to the broader business in everything that you do

2) Product Management Component:

To be successful in the role you will:

- Be proactive in identifying gaps in the market and providing tangible legal product solutions

- Be the intermediary between customers, partner network and the UnoLex executive team - you'll need to convey feedback, enhancements to the existing platform

- Have a passion for research - contribute to pricing and market analysis

We're looking for candidates who have:

- 3-7 years of Law Firm Experience and is comfortable speaking with clients to provide correct and timely information on products

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to create an answer for a customer no matter what they require

- Strong legal product knowledge. Good writing skills is an added bonus!

- Ability to work with the Technology team in implementing new product features

- Ability to adjust quickly to changing circumstances. Start-ups are very dynamic

- A strong interest in technology companies, legal solutions, Small to Medium Enterprises and start-ups

Additional Requirements:

- Have a legal background - it helps if you have a fundamental understanding of commercial, corporate law. Outstanding candidates with company secretary, chartered accountant background may also apply

- Have experience working in a reputable law firm or legal services provider

- Studied at a top tier Law College in India

- No prior technical experiences required. However, exposure to how digital platforms work will be helpful
