Job description:
- You will be involved to streamlining forecasting to fulfilment, cost optimization, inventory optimization, streamlining supply chain, and re-designing of business processes in the engineering/ automotive industry
You should be able to leverage your experience, provide support to the team members and also be involved in project execution with the client. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you are responsible for:
Capabilities
1. Should have S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning), demand forecasting, supply planning, excel modelling skills
2. Understanding & working knowledge of the S&OP
3. Orientation and understanding of the supplier/ vendor management, manufacturing plant, packaging plant and dispatch plan
4. Clear understanding and experience of defining inventory norms across supplier, plant, DC/ warehouse, stockist
5. Sound financial understanding of implications of inventory on top line, bottom line and working capital
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT
- MBA or a Master's degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics
EXPERIENCE (MUST HAVE):
- Minimum of 2 years of strategy consulting experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Logistics industry or on consulting projects for Logistics clients
- Strong business skills (planning, feasibility assessments, requirements development, supply chain management, testing, problem solving, working across business and IT)
- Good analytical skills for logistics processes relating to logistics data involving customer service, forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, transportation, or warehousing
- Must demonstrate willingness to travel and work overtime when required
