Job Description: AVP/VP - Channel Partner and Franchise Development Univariety is India&#39;s first company to use technology to setup a complete career & college guidance cell inside progressive schools. - Univariety network is the largest of its kind in India and covers 500 top high schools across 30+ cities with over 1,00,000 students using our paid services annually. Over 200 universities from around the world have used the Univariety system and students have gained over $5 million in scholarships last year alone. - The company is looking at strengthening the product pipeline and has recently expanded to B2C. It has raised funds twice from Infoedge and is run by a very qualified and accomplished Management Team. - We are setting up a strong distribution network to take our products to the market. Educators, Counsellors and other influences are one such channel - We are looking at a person who can head the Channel Development / Franchise Development which can enable faster growth of the company Responsibilities: - To setup up and grow Educator/Counsellor channel - Strategize and execute the Channel development - 1000+ channel partners in the medium term - Identify prospective channel partners, engage, convert and onboard - Build and manage key relationships with key influencers/counsellors - Delivering very high service experience to the channel partners - Working with Product, delivery and operations team to improve product and sale experience to the channel partners - Own end to end planning and execution of this channel - hiring team, training and setting them up for success - Manage budgets and improve channel partners- efficiency on a month-month basis - Keep tracking the market trends for Educators/counsellors and fine tune the execution plan in sync with the market - Competitive intelligence, product benchmarking and constantly improving our products and delivery experience Required Skills/Experience: - Atleast 8+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing with a minimum of 3+ years- experience in Channel Development - preferably in a consumer tech company - Proven work experience in Business Development - growth through channel partnerships - Any experience of setting up a new channel is a big positive - Excellent analytical and project management skills - Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills Attitude: - Leadership driven approach - Self-motivated and target driven - Team Player with the ability to coordinate across functions and levels - Individual contributor as well as a Strong Leader
