Head HR - Digital and IT
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Human Resources - Digital and IT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion of that time spent in HR Business Partner (HRBP) roles within product and technology organizations. This individual should possess a deep understanding of digital product and technology hiring processes and be adept at managing the entire employee life cycle within these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives, specifically tailored to the digital and IT departments.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the digital and IT leadership team, providing guidance on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and employee development.
- Lead and oversee digital product and tech hiring processes, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent to support business growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify workforce needs, create job descriptions, and streamline the recruitment process.
- Implement and manage HR programs and policies that promote a positive employee experience and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance issues, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, particularly within the digital and technology sectors, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the digital and IT departments, fostering a workplace environment that values and respects differences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HR-related initiatives and projects.
- Oversee HR metrics and analytics for the digital and IT departments, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HRBP roles within product and technology organizations.
- Proven track record of success in digital product and tech hiring and talent management.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives and programs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software tools.
