Job Description :

- We are looking for Manager/Senior Manager as a Big Data scientist with 6 to 12 years of experience in open source projects like Apache Hadoop, Spark-MLlib, H2O and Mahout to become part of our Analytics Team.

- Candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of Machine Learning algorithms. Should have hands on machine learning on Big Data using H2O, Spark-MLlib, Mahout or RevoScaleR packages.

- Candidates should be able to pick up one or more new frameworks in short notice as well as react to evolving technology landscape.

Responsibilities :

- Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest, process and analyze data at scale and in real-time.

- Perform offline/online analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem.

- Involve in big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve our data processing and analytics architecture.

Skills Required :

- Programming language,R, Python, Java,

- Machine Learning Algorithms,Linear & Logistic Regression, Time Series analysis, Support Vector Machine, K-Means clustering, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Na- ve Bayes, PCA, SVD, Artificial Neural Networks, Association Rules, Genetic Algorithm,

Optimization, Bagging and Boosting algorithms

- Batch processing, Hadoop MapReduce, Cascading/Scalding, Apache Spark- Apache Spark Stack; MLlib, Spark SQL, GraphX, Spark Streaming, SparkR,Stream processing,Apache Storm, Spark streaming,NoSQL,HBase, MongoDB, MarkLogic

- Excellent communication and decision making skills are essential.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

- Identify project issues, communicate them and assist in their resolution.

- Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance.

Qualification/Candidate Profile :

- BE/B. Tech/MS in Computer Science or related area

- Around 6 -12 years of Data Science experience,Minimum 3 - 5 Years of experience on Big Data Platform especially on Apache Spark

- Proficient in R, Python, H2O, Mahout, Spark-MLlib, Databases and Visualization tools etc.

- Understanding for data, schema, data model, machine learning and how to bring efficiency in big data related life cycle

- Proficiency with agile or lean development practices

- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
