Job Description : FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

About ER at UnitedHealth Group :

- At UnitedHealth Group, Employee Relations is a CoE function that provides support to every UHG business in a specific region. The Employee Relations work stream that the incumbent is part of is referred to, as the International Shared Services team that serves the Asia Pacific region.

- The keys functions of ER, while keeping in the business and statutory requirements of the region are;Effective Case Management, Ensuring Legislative Compliance &,To create and develop a strong Governance framework that drives continuous process improvement.

- Through positive employee relations policies, practices, and programs, ER focuses on developing scalable and innovative ER solutions, driving employee and manager accountability, and providing a workplace that is free from all forms of discrimination.

Position Overview:

- As an ERQM Analyst -India, this position/incumbent is responsible for driving Continuous Process Improvement in line with laid down ER Strategy. ER is driving transformational changes and to support this, the Manger ERQM plays a key role. The incumbent is high performing HR Transformation Management consultants who have achieved excellence and strong reputations in their specialist field including HR/ER Performance Improvement, Technology, - Processes and- Service Delivery Models.

Job Responsibilities:

- Support the delivery of large complex- projects, working with teams across COE to achieve the project objectives that come within the ER Transformation, Governance & Continuous Process Improvement agenda set per the APAC ER Strategy roadmap

- Engage with stakeholders- to understand the business needs; advise, scope and shape projects

- Responsible to develop the initial business case and benefits for a project/initiative and work with other delivery partners including HC, transformation and COE to mobilize a project.

- Lead meetings and support workshops for projects, or elements of them

- Create and deliver clear, concise, high-quality work products and act as an ER subject matter resource on one or more projects

- Advise the stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and maintain the highest standards of client service throughout

- Deliver value to the project by demonstrating an understanding of the integration of process, service delivery model, data and technology; articulate project impacts to existing solutions and/or efforts to stakeholders

- Support the management of project risks and issues and solutions to effectively overcome these

- Support the overall project lead to manage project budget and ensure timely and accurate reporting to the ER leadership

- Responsible for delivering to all Analytical requirements for region. Responsible to collaborate with the work stream teams and ensure timely and accurate and timely reports/dashboards are prepared and published.

- Support M&A initiatives by assessing business & employee impact and developing risk mitigation plans.

- Support periodic review of policies in accordance with changing statutory laws, business requirements & amendments.

- Responsible to undertake regular Internal Audits for ER work streams in the region and work with respective teams on closure of action plans.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- The incumbent will personally drive varied projects related to continuous improvement & ER Governance framework.

Qualification - Requirements :

- Graduate Degree from a reputed college with a Post Graduate in Law/ MBA/ PGDBM / PM-IR is essential.

- Overall 7 - 8 years of experience with definite exposure to ER Governance & Project Management.

- Display proven competence in building a Governance cadence & driving ER Analytics.

- Project Management Skills, eye for detail and timely execution are essentials for this role

- Strong analytical ability of mind (root cause analysis) and ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets.
