United We Care - Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join United We Care in Gurgaon, India.

The FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, forecasting, and decision-making, reporting directly to the CEO/Founder. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and assumptions for accurate financial projections.

- Monitor and analyze key business metrics and financial performance indicators.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and the leadership team.

- Allocate resources effectively to support business objectives and maximize ROI.

- Monitor budget adherence and provide regular updates to the CEO/Founder

Scenario Analysis and Strategic Planning:

- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential business strategies and their financial implications.

- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

- Collaborate with the CEO/Founders to develop and refine long-term financial strategies.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

- Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track financial health.

Investor Relations and Fundraising Support:

- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, financial projections, and due diligence materials.

- Support the CEO/Founder in fundraising efforts, including pitch decks and financial modeling.

- Communicate effectively with investors and stakeholders, providing clarity on financial performance and strategies.

Process Improvement and Automation:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function.

- Implement best practices and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with IT and other teams to leverage technology for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a startup or healthcare environment

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel and Google Sheets

- Experience with budgeting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex financial data.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial insights to diverse audiences.

- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

- Familiarity with Indian and US accounting standards and regulations
